Angels We have heard on high
Gloria in excelsis deo
Gloria in excelsis deo
Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly singing o’er the plains
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains
Shepherds why this jubilee?
Why your joyous strains prolong?
What the gladsome tidings be
Which inspire your heav’nly song?
Gloria in excelsis deo
Gloria in excelsis deo
See Him in a manger lay,
Whom the choirs of angels praise
Mary, Joseph, lend your aid,
While our hearts in love we raise.
Gloria in excelsis deo

What child is this
What Child is this who laid to rest on Mary’s lap is sleeping?
Whom angels greet with anthems sweet while shepherds watch are keeping?
This, this is Christ the King, whom shepherds guard and angels sing.
Haste, haste to bring Him laud, the Babe, the Son of Mary.
Why lies He in such mean estate where ox and ass are feeding?
Good Christian fear for sinners here, the silent Word is pleading.
Nails, spear shall pierce Him through, the cross be borne for me, for you.
Hail, hail the word made flesh, the Babe, the Son of Mary.
So bring Him incense, gold and myrh, come peasant king, to own Him
The King of kings salvation brings; Let loving hearts enthrone Him.
Raise, raise the song on high; The virgin sings her lullaby.
Joy, joy for Christ is born, the Babe, the Son of Mary.
This, this is Christ the King, whom shepherds guard and angels sing.
Haste, haste to bring Him laud, the Babe, the Son of Mary.
The Babe the Son of Mary.
Away in a manager
Away in a manger no crib for a bed
The little Lord Jesus laid down His sweet head
The stars in the bright sky look down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay
The cattle are lowing the Baby awakes
But little Lord Jesus no crying He makes
I love Thee Lord Jesus look down from the sky
And stay by my cradle ’til morning is nigh
Be near me Lord Jesus I ask Thee to stay
Close by me forever and love me I pray
Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care
And fit us for Heaven to live with Thee there
And fit us for Heaven to live with Thee there
Silent Night
Silent night holy night
All is calm all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and Child
Holy Infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace
Silent night holy night
Shepherds quake at the sight
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heav’nly hosts sing alleluia
Christ the Savior is born
Christ the Savior is born
Silent night holy night
Son of God love’s pure light
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus Lord at Thy birth
Jesus Lord at Thy birth
Mary’s Boychild
Long time ago in Bethlehem so the Holy Bible says,
Mary’s boychild Jesus Christ was born on Christmas Day
Hark, now hear the angels sing, a new King born today
And man will live forever more because of Christmas Day
While shepherds watch their flocks by night
They see a bright new shining star
They hear a choir sing, the music seemed to come from afar
Hark now Hear the angels sing, a new King born today
And man will live forever more because of Christmas Day
Now Joseph and his wife, Mary, came to Bethlehem that night
They found no place to bear the child
not a single room was in sight
By and by they found a little nook, in a stable all forlorn
And in a manger, cold and dark, Mary’s little boy child was born
Hark now hear the angels sing, a new King born today
And man will live forever more because of Christmas Day
Trumpets sound and angels sing…listen to what they say
That man will live forever more because of Christmas Day
Trumpets sound and angels sing…listen to what they say
That man will live forever more because of Christmas Day
That man will live forever more because of Christmas Day
O holy night
O Holy night, the stars are brightly shining
It is the night of the dear Saviour’s birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
‘Til he appeared and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees, O hear the angel voices!
O night, divine, O night when Christ was born!
O night, divine, O night when Christ was born!
Led by the light of faith serenely beaming,
with glowing hearts by His cradle we stand.
So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming,
Here came the wise men from Orient land.
The King of kings lay thus in lowly manger
In all our trials born to be our Friend.
He knows our need, our weakness is no stranger!
Behold, your King, before Him lowly bend!
Behold, your King, before Him lowly bend!
Truly He taught us to love one another;
His law is love and His gospel is peace;
Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother,
And in His name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
Let all within us praise His holy name;
Christ is the Lord, O praise His name forever!
His pow’r and glory ever more proclaim!
His pow’r and glory ever more proclaim!
Fall on your knees, O hear the angel voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born!
O night, divine, oh night, O night divine!
Joy to the world
Joy to the World
Joy to the world! The Lord is come
Let earth receive her King!
Let ev’ry heart prepare Him room!
And heaven and nature sing,
And heaven and nature sing,
And heaven, and heaven and nature sing.
Joy to the earth! The Saviour reigns.
Let men their songs employ!
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains,
Repeat the sounding joy, repeat the sounding joy
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy.
He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love, and wonders of His love
And wonders, and wonders, of His love.
We wish you a merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Good tidings we bring
To you and your kin
Good tidings for Christmas
And a happy New Year
